Hi all,
Today I am going to tell you all, how to
enable the access for pen-drive or any (F) device plugged in to our
laptop or system. Usually this scenario suits for working people, whose
laptop/system is managed by system/network admin of that office or
helpful for others if their system settings changed accidentally.
Scenario:
When you plug-in the pen-drive, it will show up in system with name but
when you try to access it, you will get a window pop-up message
saying., "Access Denied for (G)" or {whatever the name of the drive}.
In some scenario, you may have access to pen-drive but read/write
operation will not able to perform in it. If you do, it will give the warning that , "you do not have right to perform this operation".(or) "You will need to provide administrator permission to copy to this folder" .

To overcome this, you need to change the following settings in your PC/Laptop.
- Press window + R in keyboard or type "RUN" in search box start menu.
- Then Type "gpedit.msc" in the 'open' textbox of run window.
- You will get a window called "Local Group Policy Editor" and expand the "Administrative Templates" folder in "computer configuration" (Left panel -top)
- From the folder items, scroll to "Removable storage access" and click on it.

6. Do the same for Deny Execute access, Deny Right Access, Deny Write Access and Deny all Access .
By Enabling all the four, you will get the access to read, write and copy. You can do the same for DVD and other devices.
